The student file leaves the filing cabinet.

We are building competency-based digital training records into Volanti Operations. One record per student, readable by everyone who needs it, ready for the day the auditor walks in.

In active development. We are designing it with flight schools right now.

Coming soon

One folder. One cabinet. One copy.

Every student's history lives in a paper file. Lesson notes in three different hands, a progress sheet nobody initialled, a loose page from last March. If the folder is out, nobody else can read it. If a page goes missing, that lesson never happened. And when the regulator books an audit, the whole school stops to tidy files.

What we are building

The record, rebuilt properly

Competency-based, not free-text

Each exercise will be recorded against defined competencies, with the instructor's assessment and sign-off. A structured record the next instructor can actually work from, not a scrawl to decode.

One source of truth

Student, instructor and the office will read the same record at the same time. No more "the file is in the other office", and no more briefing a lesson from memory of somebody else's notes.

Built for audit day

A complete, timestamped history for every student: what was flown, who signed it off, and when. When oversight asks, the answer will be a search, not a weekend of folder triage.

Volanti Operations

It will not arrive in a vacuum.

Training records will land inside Volanti Operations, on top of the training machinery that already runs today. Courses, enrolment, instructor diaries and flight charging are live now; the record will attach to the lesson that was actually booked, flown and billed.

  • Course enrolment, waiting lists and graduation: live today
  • Every training flight logged and charged the moment it completes: live today
  • Competency records attached to those flights: what we are building
